PRAYER GUIDE AUGUST 2014

A Quick Guide through August

1. Heavenly Father I humble myself before you today in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, have mercy upon me in the name of Jesus. (Psalm 30:10, Psalm 85:7).
3. Father, I repent and confess my sins before you this day in the name of Jesus. (1 John 1:9.)

4.    Father, let the blood of Jesus cleanse and wash me today as I enter into another month in the name of Jesus (Isaiah 1:18)

5. Father, forgive me of my iniquity in the name of Jesus.
6. Blood of Jesus, blot out every transgression and wicked ordinance that is standing and speaking against me before the Father in the name of Jesus. (Colossians 2:15).
7. Father, let your mercy prevail over every judgment that is set to be executed on my family, my life, my bloodline this month of August in the name of Jesus.
8. Blood of Jesus; counter petition every petition of Satan over my life with mercy in the name of Jesus.
9. Lift up your heads o ye gates, be lifted up ye everlasting doors of August 2014 & let the King of glory come in (Psalm 24: 9).
10. Every gate of August 2014 open up to me in the name of Jesus. (Psalm 24:9).
11. I command the gates of righteousness, wealth, influence, favor, power, dominion, open up to me in August 2014 in the name of Jesus.

15. I stand in agreement with the blood of Jesus as it steps into my books which were written in the secret place before I came into being. (Psalm 139:16).
16. Father, I say ye and Amen to what the Blood of Jesus is confessing to you today concerning:-
1. my destiny,

5. my ministry,
6. my gifts,
7. my talents,

9. my anointing,

11. my place in this nation, in the name of Jesus (Hebrews 12:24).
17. Father in the name of Jesus release every:-

8. opportunities,

10. women, into my life that will cause my destiny to manifest in the month of August 2014 going forward in the name of Jesus. (Jeremiah 50:25).
18. Jehovah, in the month of August let me experience divine life changing visitation as Mary the mother of Jesus experienced in August. (Luke 1:26-38).
19. Father, I decree and declare in the month of August my life, my ministry, my family, will not be bruised, despised or rejected in the name of Jesus (Isaiah 53).
20. Father, let your Holy Spirit overshadow me in the month of August as it did to Mary that I may manifest the deposit of Christ in me. (Luke 1:26-38).
21. Father, I decree and declare that I shall experience divine conception of Godly ideas, thoughts, in the name of Jesus and by the blood of Jesus.
22. In this month of August, I decree and declare by the voice of the blood of Jesus fruitfulness; in my life, in my ministry, in my finances, in my business, in my bloodline, in my marriage, in my work, in my family in the name of Jesus. (Isaiah 53:1-5).
23. Father, I decree and declare this month there shall be a divine turn around in my life, my ministry, sphere of influence, in my business, in my marriage, in my job, in my family, in my bloodline in the name of Jesus.
24. Thank you Lord that in this month of August 2014 I will walk in divine:-

3. favor,
4. opportunities,

6. creativity, in the name of Jesus.
25. Father In the name of Jesus I  decree and declare by the blood of  Jesus this month of August 2014 gates of nations will open up to me in the name of Jesus .
26. I hid the month of August in the name of the Lord.
27. I hid every day, hour and second of August 2014 in the name of the Lord.
28. Father every treasury that is hid in the month of August 2014 let it locate me and my family in the name of Jesus (Isaiah 45:3).
29. Father, let the secrets, knowledge, glory hidden in the month of August 2014 be released to me, my family, my bloodline, my succeeding generation, my ministry, my nation in the name of Jesus (1 Corinthians 2:7,10). 
30. Father, let the glory, and knowledge that is  hidden in the stars; predestined to manifest in the months of August  2014, be released to me this month by the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus (I Corinthians  15:41).
31. Father, blow your horn over my life and anoint me afresh this month of August 2014 in the name of Jesus.(Psalms 92:10)
32. Blood of Jesus, introduce me to the gatekeepers (the Angels in charge) of the heavenly storehouses in the name of Jesus.

38. Let your horn and trumpet of victory and abundance reintroduce me afresh to the world, to my family, to the body of Christ, in the name of Jesus.
39. Father, call me by a new name, which only your mouth shall utter this August 2014. (Isaiah 62:2b).
40. Let every wicked cycle, illness, infirmity, sickness, curse negating your work on Calvary for me be scattered in Jesus name.
41. Let the testimony of Jesus concerning His works on Calvary overshadow my body, soul and spirit throughout this month.
42. This month of August thwart the plans of the crafty, let their hands achieve no success in the name of Jesus (Job 5:12)
43. Father this month of August let me walk under an open heaven in the name of Jesus ( Mark 1:10, Rev 4:1)
44. I decree by the blood of Jesus that Godly prints are on the soles of my feet in the name of Jesus
45. Father this month of August answer, answer the heavens, and let the heavens answer the earth, let the earth answer to grain, new win, oil, let them answer me in the name of Jesus (Hosea 2:21-22)
46. Father this month of August let there be order in the heavens above my life, my family, my nation, in the name of Jesus (Job 25:2)
47. Father this month of August let the stones of the filed covenant with me to yield their treasures to me in the name of Jesus (Job 5:23)
48. Father I pray this month of August going forward let the earth recognize me and record me as a child of the most high God (Jeremiah 22:29-30)
49. Father led me this month of August by your spirit into paths of righteousness, holiness, favor, increase, wealth, dominion, power (Psalms 23:3)
50. Father this August increase me a thousand times and bless me in every area of my life in the name of Jesus (Deuteronomy 1:11)
51. Father this August let it be the beginning of the manifestation of your word that “ I shall be a mother of thousands of millions and my offspring will possess the gates of their enemies.” in the name of Jesus (Genesis 24:60)
52. Father I bless you ten thousand times ten thousand times ten thousand for your love for me
53. I seal every prayer and declaration made with the precious, superior blood of Jesus.  

Role of a worship leader

what is the role of the worship leader
Sometimes it is not clear what exactly is the role of the worship leader. Many times a worship leader, is the song leader during the service, carries out pastoral duties, is a group leader, a full time ( or not )staff member, a member of the congregation. It may seem to be many things to many people. The roles depends on where you are standing!. That influences how you quite see the praise and worship leader.

To the congregation

He is the song leader,
The person who invites and takes them into the holy presence of God.

He at the same time may speak the word of God to the congregation, encouraging them with scriptures as they come before God

To the worship team/choir:

• He is the leader,
• Offers guidance and couselling
• Song leader
• Mentor

He selects the songs with suggestions(sometimes!) from his team members. His team mates will view him as a mentor by reason of the annointing that rests upon his life. People tend to view the men and women that God uses tremendously as role modes.

How does the word of God view him:

• He is the servant of God; answerable to God and accountable to God for his actions
• He is a person who serves/ministers under authority of the mantle of the angel of the house.
  
• He is the minister who oversees the different expressions of ministration to God through music and other arts.
• He is a song leader; David led the priests in praise, when he met the prophets and the spirit of the lord descended on him
• He is the The keeper of the flame; the oil in the tabernacle was kept burning by the priests who tended it day and night. The levites who are the priests ensured the oil in the lamp did not go out. The worship leader has the responsibility to ensure that the oil in the tabernacle does not go out. He is the leader of the keepers of the flame.
  
• Drawer of the glory of God; the word of God has reports that when sacrifices were made to the Lord at the tabernacle, when the priest lifted their voices in praise, the glory of God came down and no one could go into the tabernacle. the priest with their praise drew the glory of God to the tabernacle. Says may our praise be like incense to him, God inhabits the praise of his people
• kept away the spirit of the devil; when Saul was tormented by an evil spirit, David was called before Saul and ministered to him in song and the evil spirit departed from him.( 1 kings)
  
• Sustains the anointing; in the old testament when the prophet needed to prophesy, they often had a musician come and begin to minister to the lord in song and instrument, and the anointing of God would come upon the Prophet and his spirit would be stirred up and he would be able to prophesy to the people. you will therefore find that many ministers when ministering to the people often like to have music in the background. It sustains the anointing and continually charges the atmosphere
  

In the present day ministration praise & worship is taking an increasing major role in the services. Many services comprise of praise, announcements, and, the sermons and I belive that as the days continue as the Lord continues to unveil his glory he will use more of the ministers of worship where the glory of the lord will cover his people as they worship and lift his name.
