Then Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer
and put incense in it, along with burning coals from the altar, and hurry to
the assembly to make atonement for them. Wrath has come out from the Lord; the plague has started.” So
Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had
already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made
atonement for them. He stood between the living and the
dead, and the plague stopped. (Numbers 16:46-48)
Father we enter your gates with
thanksgiving in our hearts, and, your courts with praise. We stand before your
throne of Grace as we continue to petition for mercy Lord. We know that you are the righteous judge, and
the foundations of your throne are righteousness and justice. We continue to repent of our wicked ways,
sins, iniquities that have caused your hand of judgement to rest upon this
nation. We confess our sins and ask for your mercy Lord.
We stand in the office of a priest and we
plead for your mercy over this nation. We lift up every prayer that has been
prayed over Kenya by men, women and children, in remembrance before you Lord.
Answer us, for we are in distress, may your name protect us, send help from
your sanctuary, remember our sacrifices and our offerings we pray.
We plead the blood of Jesus, as we raise
our prayers before you. May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our
heart be pleasing to you mighty Lord.
Let it be as a sweet incense before you. Stretch your hand of mercy over
this nation. Release a judgement and a
verdict of mercy and a stop to the plague that has come over the nation of
Kenya we pray. For the sake of your great name preserve the nation of Kenya. Do
not destroy the righteous together with the wicked Lord. In the midst of your
wrath remember mercy Lord. Our eyes are on you Lord.
Rescue us from the cords of death that have
coiled around this nation. Rescue us from this powerful enemy who is too strong
for us. Draw us from these deep waters we have sunk into. For you are powerful,
you do mighty and miraculous things. Our
hope is in you Lord, for vain is the help of man.
